Lisa Weightman Wins the Nagano Marathon!
ASCEND believer Lisa Weightman has won the Nagano Olympic Commemorative Marathon in Japan over the weekend! This is the first major international title for Weightman, an Australian Beijing Olympian, and stands her in good stead for the Delhi Commonwealth games later in the year.
Weightman beat her previous personal best by two minutes to win convincingly in a time of 2.28.48. Olena Burkovska of the Ukraine came in second.
This latest win comes on the back of Weightmans’s March ‘back to back’ win at the Run For The Kids in Melbourne. She is clearly back in top form after illness at the beginning of the year forced her to pull out of the Dubai Marathon in January.
Lisa Weightman uses ASCEND Elite Recovery 4 times a week, immediately after exercise, as part of her training routine.
